There are so many goddamn 411 VM videos that we had to make a link for em.
Issue #53 411 VM
2002, 48 minutes
Current Rating: 3 out of 5 stars
411 VM will likely be around for a long time. It's hard to get enough of consistently good skateboarding, quality filming and decent music. This incarnation has features such as a short feature with Bob Burnquist talking about his native Brazil, as well as a short feature on some of the countries’ amazing skateboarders (i.e. Nilton Nieves). The Circa Roadtrip features John Rattray, Colt Cannon, and Adrian Lopez presenting skateboard magic to the green hills of New Zealand. Also featured is a Billabong Roadtrip with Daniel Haney wrecking himself.

As 411s go, Issue #53 is pretty good. I hear people say that 411 is guilty of over-saturation, but if I’m gonna' OD on something, make it skateboarding. The filming and music are right on (Avalanches)! Rattray has to be one of my all time favorites. The guy has a million moves, he's smooth and he's gnarly. I was not too familiar with Jake Nunn, but he skates very well with loads of pop. I especially enjoyed watching Daniel Haney kill everything in his way. No fear, no restraint. He should be in a death metal or grindcore band for sure--and the name of his band should have a dirty word in the title.
