The Acme Skateboard Video Acme 1992, 24 minutes Current Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars The Acme Skateboard Video is the first video from Acme skateboards, circa 1992. This video features a lengthy list of skateboarders including Chet Childress, Clyde Singleton, Omar Hassan, Quy Nguyen, Mike Santarossa, and Matt Reason to name a few. Expect to see and hear the entire gambit: from ledges and stairs to vert, pool and mini-ramp with plenty of unique music. December 29, 2003 This video sucked. I would have given it a lower rating, but I'm sure it captures something of the essence of skateboarding. But damn, this video sucked. There is bad music, horrible film quality (like many videos from the period) and with no subtitles, you’ll have no idea who is skating until the end of the video. For a 25 minute video, 12 minutes is footage of absolutely nothing of interest--including male nudity. Who cares? Me. I wanna see skateboarding, and the most memorable thing I came away from this video with is Clyde's dong flopping about in the night. Now I can indulge my gay porn urges and watch a skate video at the same time! Better yet... how about no. BrAD (the silent "R")
