Sex Pistols legend Johnny Rotten/Lydon hosts Flip's skate video premier, Sorry. With a line up including Rune Glifberg, Tom Penny and Arto Saari, you get plenty of unique European footage in addition to the standard west-coast footy. Witness tons of hammers, big stairs, gnarly switchstance tricks, and long rails. There’s some pool and ramp skating, but the bulk of the video consists of street skating.

Sorry purports to be a middle finger in the direction of the Extreme Games. Don't believe it! This video is every bit as image-conscious, flashy and just as hyped. Johnny Rotten is brilliant as a host, though, which is certainly production money well spent. The quality of skating in this video is top-notch and at many times jaw dropping, but with the exception of Tom Penny and Ali Boulala's parts, it lacks any personality. The soundtrack is also pretty weak except for Tom Penny skating to the Velvet Underground. Mark Appleyard's part is almost impossible to watch due to the awful song he skates to. Overall, this video is worth checking out, but it doesn't hold up to repeated viewing and probably won't age very well.

There are plenty of reasons Sorry is the most anticipated skate video ever. Flip possibly has one of the greatest all-around teams, providing some of the smoothest, most big/tech combos. Tricks like Appleyard’s nollie flip to backside 50-50 at the Clipper ledge and Bastien’s kickflip backside lipslide down a rail are two examples. But how about a gnarly mid-air board transfer or a darkside slide?! Sorry has a mixture of typical street skating, with a few off the wall tricks, which add a bit of style to the video (this is especially true for Ali's part). The skating is unmatched and the team seems to have fun, making Sorry an all-around sweet video.
