The video was released in 1996 but was actually planned for 1997. The 7 lucky thrashers are Kien Lieu, Aaron Snyder, Jason Carney, Joe McLellan, Dave Mayhew, Chad Knight, and Marc Johnson (FYI, they have 77 letters total in all of their names). Mostly street skating with just about 7 seconds of half pipe, 7 Steps to Heaven brings you at least 7 genres of music including jazz, the Oz, and everyone's karaoke favorite: Brandy by Looking Glass. September 23, 2002 Maple squeezes as many different styles it can into 30 minutes. The Donger starts everything off with his signature lines and monstrous ollies. This dude sees waist high ledges and standing garbage cans and says to himself, "Phhht...don't even waste my time." I'm serious... they big. Aaron Snyder and Jason Carney rock their way through their parts with AC/DC's Have A Drink On Me—what’s better than that? Some earlier Marc Johnson footage finishes the video off.
