There are so many goddamn 411 VM videos that we had to make a link for em.
Issue #37 411 VM
1999, 70 minutes
Current Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Among 411 Issue 37's featured articles are John Rattray and Justin Reynolds rookie sections, Girl/Chocolate and New Deal road trips, a Dynasty industry section and an MTV music and sports' vert ramp demo. If you dig Blink 182, Fat Wreck Chords bands and the occasional hip-hop song, you won't have any beef with the soundtrack.

Of the more recent 411s that I've seen, this is one of the better ones. Even the commercials are tolerable and I can watch this issue from start to finish without losing interest, a problem I often have with 411s. Highlights in this issue are the Girl/Chocolate road trip feature (no team skates as smoothly) and the John Rattray and Justin Reynolds rookie sections. Rattray has one of the best styles out there and seems comfortable skating a variety of terrain. Check out the Blueprint videos and Zero's Dying to Live for more proof. I'm not one for "jock"/extreme skating but I even enjoyed watching the MTV music and sports' ramp section with Bob Burnquist, Bucky Lasek and Colin McKay, among others. Burnquist doing a switch stalefish taller than most basketball players was killer.
