Intermission
Channel One
1994, 17 minutes
Current Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Intermission features skateboarding at the end of the uncool phase of skateboarding. This video features the remnants of the big pants, little wheels, and flip your board as many times as possible craze of the early 90's. Most of the video is street skating with mini-ramp sessions intermixed. There are a lot of flip tricks in the video without a lot of pop. That's what you get when a video is made in 1994. Also featured in the video is multiple pool sessions by Kale Sandridge. The video is short, approx, 17 minutes, and the music consists of Fluf, and a bunch of songs that were homemade on a 4 track.

If you weren't around in the early 90's then you missed out. People skated on bearings and played the game, "Flip your board as close to the ground as possible without touching it." It was all kind of spooky. The skating in this video is good for 1994. Chris Senn still manages to rip even though his deck is a centimeter off of the ground. The other 2 impressive parts come from Justin Regan and Jamie Hart. The music is nothing to write home about and the video is short -- VERY short. Even though a lot of the sections are only a couple tricks long they still give us a glimpse of the skate roots that created today's tech-dog style.
