Another video by Girl skateboards, and with the Girl team there is always the Chocolate team following close behind. This is a pure street video. A lot of Southern California footage, mixed in with some footage from San Fransico and elsewhere. The skating is uniform throughout the video with each skater basically having a smooth technical style. There is a bunch of ledge work and a shit load of nose grind/crooked grind variations. There isn't any park, mini, or vert skating -- just street, street, street. Pretty much what you would expect from these fellas. There are a few skits mixed in the video to break things up, which are brought to you by the cinematic genius of Spike Jonze, and the rest of the time is just pure skating.

So let me ask you what you want to watch? If you are looking for 13 stair smith grinds down handrails you've come to the wrong place. Likewise, if you want to see a kickflip melon 6 feet out of a snakerun, or perhaps a cabalerial indy on vert. On the other hand, if you want to see clean 360 flips on a ledge to ledge gap, smooth backside 180 kickflips off handicap ramps over gaps, and one of the raddest kickflips over a picnic table EVER, then you've found yourself a film.

Man, this video fires me up! My only complaint about this movie is that there's an extremely limited amount of Mike Carroll footage. He rips, so that kind of bummed me out at first, but then I was thinking, how can I really be bummed out when I get to see Koston and Mariano skate? The answer is that nobody should be bummed, because if you want finesse and style then these are the kids to give it to you. If for nothing else, this is the first large amount of footage from Guy Mariano since Blind's "Video Days" (the video to check out above all other videos). Just sit back and enjoy, because it's definitely worth the wait to see him skate.
